This TCL 85” QLED TV...
Reviewed on www.walmart.com·Debby
This TCL 85” QLED TV is the perfect mix of price to performance for a large living area. The QLED picture is plenty bright for well lit areas with moderate amounts of direct sunlight. Assembly was relatively simple; just install the legs, plug it in, and the initial setup screen guides you through setup. The included remote is a more traditional size; some newer TV's come with an oversimplified remote that is simply too small. This one is perfectly balanced, solid build quality, and has built in voice commands for use with the Google TV interface. The WiFi signal is great without any stuttering, though we have a mesh WiFi system with 1 gigabit internet more to thank for that. After proper setup and color calibration, the colors in scenes are really punchy with the HDR and Dolby Vision certified signal processing. While the inputs are limited to 4K@60hz, in real world use you won't really be able to tell the difference of not having HDMI 2.1 for 4K@120hz. It has all the modern features like Dolby Atmos support, eARC, HDMI CEC, a plethora of apps available through the Google TV interface, and relatively snappy menu navigation for a “budget” TV. I own several different types of TV's from old school LCD panels to LG's latest OLED's, and unless you have them side-by-side, you'd be hard pressed to notice visual clarity differences in most viewing situations, and this one looks and feels premium. Did I mention it's HUGE? Installation was straightforward, but still a pain just given its sheer size. It weighs a LOT, and it's awkward to lift something this large just to set onto a media console, let alone mounting to a wall. The audio quality is actually fantastic for built in speakers; it has a rear speaker in the center for low frequencies as a built in subwoofer! We will be connecting a true Atmos setup to it eventually, but the built in audio is plenty loud and punchy for most people just watching streaming shows, YouTube, or live broadcast TV. Overall I'd give this 5 stars, especially given its picture and sound quality, massive size, and user interface for this price point. If you're on the fence, do yourself a favor and just go for it!

Thank you, Influenster!!❤️ I received a TLC 55”Q class 4K UHD HDR QD-mini led smart TV with Google TV today at my door. I was so excited from the time I opened the box till I was connected to my Google assistant and Wi-Fi. It took about 25 minutes. I was amazed how easy the set up was. I was impressed the excellent picture quality, the brilliant colors and life like pictures. It was just stunning. This TV has 4K ultra HD resolution and LED backlighting. Next, of course I need to watch a music video. I'm telling you premium audio. This TV has ultra base a built in subwoofer for deep base. The sound is awesome. I have provided a picture for reference. And now it's gaming time. game of accelerator 240 up to 240 VRR for blistering fast gameplay Hmmmm……. I also noticed it has four HDMI port that support 4K-120 which is a must for gamers with multiple next General devices, and if you're a gamer, you don't want a lag or a delay. Trust me this is the TV for you. The characters are so life like the image, quality, resolution, color, contrast, brightness, and the sound of the subwoofer you are there, you are in the game you are playing you are fighting. You are winning! You will be absolutely 100% impressed. overall this TV is the full package, a high-end TV with all the apps at your fingertips it works with both Alexa, Google and Apple HomeKit. This TV is an excellent choice for movies, videos, and gaming. The quality of the TV I would compare equally with Samsung or Vizio as these are the TVs I usually have in my home. These are the TVs I use every day, not a TLC. I've never heard of a TLC until it came in a box on my porch, when I had this opportunity from Influenster I was so excited I tried to look up reviews to see what I was getting and to my surprise there was none !! . So here is mine. BUY IT , OWN IT, YOU WILL LOVE IT! and that is my review……

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This TV feels like a major upgrade and a step into the future. I really like how many settings there are and are adjustable; you can save your settings in each picture mode and freely switch between them (including turning down the brightness and choosing whether you want auto-brightness turned on). I typically keep the TV in low power (energy saving) mode, but occasionally switch to different ones for movies or video games. The matte finish on the screen gives the tv kind of a luxurious look when it’s off. My TV is also next to a window, and I definitely think the matte cuts the glare.\n\nAt first I was unsure about the Art Mode, but I think it’s just my setup. I am not able to use the included flush mount, so I did find an articulating wall mount that fit. Be aware the back of this TV is not like any I have seen, and some “universal” accessories won’t work. If you can flush-mount this TV, I truly think this could look like a big framed piece of art (pro tip though, turn the brightness waaay down to get the artsy feel)\n\nThis is my first experience with Google TV. I turned it off and put the TV in “app only” mode. Google TV part tailors ads and things you may like, but app mode makes it more like a Roku/Apple TV interface. Google TV does not search or perform actions within most apps, so I don’t feel like im missing out with it off. There was also brief lag sometimes with Google TV turned on, but I haven’t experienced that since turning it off. \n\nOverall, great things to say about the quality of this TV. it is definitely a step into “smart TV” territory, so if you are upgrading from something more basic like I was, some interfaces may take 2 seconds to get used to. My irks all seem to stem from software UI, which can easily be patched and upgraded in time. This TV is very easy to use, very personalizable, and I am very happy to display this in my home.

Honestly for the sheer size and quality for the price I'm rather impressed. Bought this thing on a whim because of the sale. Didn't go into with huge expectations because I know Oled picture quality tends to be the best out there so far, but honestly for it not even being a mini led television and the tv punches above its weight in my opinion. Now this doesn't mean it doesn't have flaws, clearly the motion on the tv can be a bit hit and miss depending on the content and what you're viewing it on (depending on 1080 or 4K). But where it makes up is the HDR content and picture quality for me. I'm no expert on Nits on a tv but from my own eyes and coming from a 2022 LG 75 inch this thing pops on color and brightness on highlights. Fire and lights burn bright and give details I feel I was missing on my other television. Also because of the 98 inch screen the amount of details in the picture stand out. I've been rewatching movies and realize I'm able to see details that once didn't feel present to me on the LG, mind you my LG wasn't the highest end model but it was a very capable television for its time. Overall I do recommend this tv for anyone who's on a budget and wants that "home theater" feel. On a final note, the sound quality is also no slouch. This thing is loud, and yes loud doesn't always mean good but for the price it feels decent to use the tv speakers. I don't feel the need to turn on my Bose soundbar, my other tv NEEDED IT. This new TCL has really impressed me, which even typing this out has still surprised me to say. Hopefully someone finds this somewhat helpful.

Amazing Bang for Buck
Reviewed on www.walmart.com·Commandersfan13
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'd been waiting to purchase this TV for a long while. Reading reviews and all the comparisons. All I can say is that when I compared this to the Hisense, the brightness blew it away. Having a bright room, I needed something like this to really enjoy the space in the daytime. And although the antiglare isn't great (no TV is right now at this price point), the brightness really helps to ensure the the picture is seen in detail. And oh my gosh, the blacks!!! Other reviewers are not kidding about how near OLED the blacks really get. It's surreal and the fact there is no bleeding for ghosting into the black makes this TV even better!! The one thing I did read though is using the apps via home screen doesn't show the TVs full potential. Apparently, it's even better if you use a roku or apple+ box into the TV. Not sure if this is a firmware issue or what, but heard Hisense has same problem. It's a weird problem to be honest. Fortunately, I already owned a good Roku box and plugged it in and I did notice the difference. But to be honest, you'd have to watch with a box and then switch to home screen app to notice, and even then, it wasn't that noticeable. To me, this wasn't a real issue. And for such amazing bang for buck, you're getting an amazing TV. If you can afford it the little extra, wait and splurge for the 85" when you catch it on sale. Thanks TCL for making such a great product!!! Really putting the mega companies like LG, Sony, and Samsung on notice!

I recently purchased the TCL 65-inch QM6K mini-LED TV, and I've been extremely impressed with the overall value and performance. For the price, it's honestly one of the best TVs I've owned.\n\nThe picture quality is amazing—bright, sharp, and full of detail. The mini-LED backlighting makes a noticeable difference, especially in dark scenes, with deep blacks and great contrast. HDR content really stands out thanks to support for Dolby Vision, HDR10 , and other premium formats. Movies and streaming shows look incredibly cinematic.\n\nThe audio is also surprisingly good for a built-in sound system. With Dolby Atmos and IMAX Enhanced sound, the experience feels much more immersive compared to other TVs in the same price range. You can actually hear directional effects and depth, which is rare without a separate sound system.\n\nThe QM6K also packs tons of great features, easy-to-use smart apps, and smooth performance whether you're watching movies, gaming, or streaming.\n\nOverall, this TV is a great deal for anyone looking for premium features without the premium price tag. Stunning picture quality, great sound, and strong format support make it an easy recommendation.

The picture quality is in 4K and it is crisp. The sound on this TV was the most surprising. It's loud and has a great bass to it. No need to buy a sound bar because the stock speakers are more than enough. You can connect this TV to your WiFi to access all the features it has to offer. Also, you can connect it to your phone and stream from your phone to the TV. It also has 4 HDMI outlets that you can connect to whatever is compatible. The best smart feature is when you connect it to Alexa or Google home. You can't turn it on with that but you can definitely use it to turn off. You can also command it to open any app on the tv. The remote is a small basic remote that has shortcuts to the most used apps like Netflix, YouTube, etc. the remote also has a light up LED when you pick up the remote and when you press the buttons. The response time from the remote to the TV is quick unlike some other smart TVs I've used.

It is fitted with Google TV and there are several options for apps and it is easy to navigate.\n\nInstall did not take long and the addition of a template was helpful. The AI artwork feature is fun as you can choose corresponding words to get an image you like. If it is not what you expect, you can hit try again and see other options. I got this TV several days ago. It is freaking amazing and was so worth the price. For context, my last TV was a 40 inch 3D LG TV bought brand new in 2011 for $1700 (it still works). 4K HDR content looks amazing on the TCL tv. The sound quality is also not bad for being built into the TV itself. I paired it with a Vizio 5.1 surround sound system via eARC and it works great.\n\nWalmart has these kinds of devices for black friday every year. They are basically a dumbed down version of the higher tier model. Last year I bought a surround sound system that was sold as new but was essentially a refurb unit from my local Walmart. Fortunately, that does not seem to be case for this TV. This TV is a dumbed down version of the TCL 98Q651CG. As far as I can tell it is missing a few ports from that model and everything else seems to be the same. The $400 USD lower price was so worth a few less ports I never use anyway.

The wall mount is a flush mount so it doesn't stick out very far. Took us about 30 minutes to install to the wall. The TV comes with a beautiful light wood magnetic bevel which allows you to change the look of the tv drastically. This tv has very loud speakers for being a TV. The downfall is that the tv is quite pricey and does not come with a stand, so you MUST have a flat wall big enough for the tv. I haven't had luck finding a stand anywhere that works for this TV. Also the screws sent with the TV for the mount, strip out before you get them all the way in the wall. Other than those couple things this TV is everything!

At first, I was very disappointed with this TV. When using a Roku box, the Xfinity app was dark, blurry, and fuzzy. I kept trying to adjust the tv, but it was always poor. When I did not use the Roku, the colors were fine. I finally switched the Rokus from one tv to the other and now it works fine. It's a shame Xfinity cannot be downloaded as an app on this tv. Something like Roku, or another streaming box must be used. It is strange that the Roku on TCL did not work correctly on it, but when I switched it to a Samsung tv, it worked perfectly. Finally, after two months, I am satisfied with my TCL. It was the Roku Ultra LT that would not work on TCL. An old Roku Ultra was fine.

It seems like no matter what channel or app I choose, I have to create an account, give it my email address... create a password... tell it my age... sexual preferences... well... you get the idea. Very intrusive, and leaving you wondering each step of the way if the selections you make are going to result in additional monthly subscription charges.
