The Go Rhino Dominator DSS...

The Go Rhino Dominator DSS Sliders are well built and look good on the truck. I wanted a low profile step and these are perfect. I really like the product with one exception associated with design and installation. For installation on my 2024 Ram 1500 Quadcab, there are three brackets per side. The brackets that connect to the truck's rocker panel were easy, leveraging factory studs. But those brackets connect to angle brackets that slide into a square tube on the back of the slider. Unfortunately, the opening for inserting the angle brackets is exactly aligned with my middle rocker panel bracket and I feel like it compromised the strength of that middle bracket. This could be solved by moving the opening away from the center of the step, or the center bracket could be wider so that it spans the opening - it is almost the exact width as the opening in the tube. Overall, I am happy with the sliders, minus the one design opportunity for improvement. I will keep an eye on the center bracket over time to see it compromises the integrity of the slider at that center support location. Just a little disappointed to have to worry about something like this at this price point. 4 out of 5 stars.

Great Product, Needs Better Instructions The running boards work great and look nice on my 2024 Tacoma. They deploy smoothly when I open the door and tuck away nicely when closed. Make getting in and out so much easier for kids. The installation manual wasn't very detailed which made setup longer than expected. Watched a few youtube videos to get it right. Only comment is I wish they fit closer to the bottom of the rocker panel, they hang lower than i thought they would. I do really like how slim they are and don't protrude too far out from the side of the truck.

The paint was scratched and bubbled in multiple areas on both sides. An additional mounting bracket for each side should be included since there is an extra factory mounting area. The ends where the tube meets the square base is just an open hole area that just looks unfinished and could have been welded or bent to shape instead of leaving an open area. The mounting brackets could be a little wider where the slider meets to prevent the bracket from digging in to the slider if you mount it too high. Overall not bad easy install but a few things could be revised to make them great

Love the way these look...

Love the way these look on my 2024 Chevy 2500. They don't hang low and keep your ground clearance. Only slight downside is they are very shallow. I don't mind this but some might as you can't stand on these with enough foot without holding onto the handle.

These look so much better than the factory 6” chrome steps that were on the truck. They fit perfectly. Only issue I ran into was small pieces of sheet metal inside the steps on one side that was rattling. Had to uninstall, remove the end cap and shake out the material. Other than that everything was great.

Real Truck has become my go to for after market truck accessories. I've consistently had good experiences and items show up exactly as you see o web pages. The selection and value is unmatched. I can NOT say the same for experiences I've had with 4 Wheel Parts. Sadly, they have similar products but horrible customer service. Thus I nolonger give them my business!

The Rhino DSS Dominators give reasonable protection for the rocker panels of a Colorado or Canyon. There reduced width allow for a sleek factory look. Consider the D6's if you want additional width for those who actually need them for steps into the truck.

This is not a step. This is a slider and has minimal foot contact but they give great ground clearance. Full frame height and easy to install.

They function effectively and are simple to install, fitting perfectly on the 2023 GMC Canyon. \n\nNonetheless, it would be beneficial for the brackets to incorporate an added upward vertical angle to adequately cover the pinch weld area of the truck, as their current configuration does not provide substantial coverage in that area.

The Step is nice but...

The Step is nice but the brackets are not wide enough for the step to be able to use there is only a 1/2 inch of the step sticking out. It was disappointing not having the 2 inches of surface that was promised to step on and use to get into the truck.

Very clean look. Sturdy and solid feeling when you stand in them to clean or access roof top. They call them sliders so I would hope that they would protect rocker panels but not something I want to test. They stick out just enough so car doors cant ding you. Satisfied customer.

Nice fit, looks great, I like how they are not wide so it doesn't get in the way with me getting in and out of my truck. My one grip and suggestion, is to put it all together (bracket to boards, etc.) keep the bolts loose then install on the rocker panels. This was a much easier installation then per the instructions.

Mounts nice and tucked up to the cab, and has just enough sticking out to step on. Installation was very finicky getting bolts to start in the nut plates that slide into the board, but is very secure after a lot of swearing and pinched fingers. I really like how these look on the truck!

I wanted running boards that didn't look like helicopter landing gear. These boards/bars mount close to the cab and don't stick out too far. These are big enough for my wife and kids to get a toe on when getting into the truck. Well made and a simple install.

Great steps that do not stick out far and they sit tight to the rocker panel. There is enough step to get the side or front of your foot to step up on. The sliders are built well and they are solid.

Dominator D1 Black Running Boards The running boards are good, finish looks good, fit looks good. The install instructions are awful. I read a review prior to buying these and I should have followed their advice....don't follow instructions. The passenger board took over 90 minutes following the instructions, the drivers was 30 minutes not following them. The install design is just very poor. There are 3 nut plates that go into the running boards that are not mounted so it is close to impossible to align with mounted bracket on Jeep. Need to mount brackets onto running boards, leave loose, then mount to Jeep. I am not confident in the toughness of the finish as I got a couple scratches while installing. Run bolts into nut plate to clean out threads before trying install so they are easier to start when under the Jeep. To start, the installation instructions are horrible and a few pieces are incorrect for the Bronco. The step rock slider is ok on the top, but underneath the brackets come down lower and I can see the these will catch on rocks.

Super Nice! Excellent product! Easy to install and adds an awesome look to my truck! It also is super practical for a step without being to low and sacrificing clearance. Although these are not true rock sliders, I believe they will give some level of protection due to their sturdiness. My 2020 1794 has a 3 inch lift so eventually I would of worn out the edge of my seat getting in and out by not having them. I highly recommend them. I bought these because I liked the looks of them for my 19 Trail boss. Thought they would help with road debris and be multi functional as a step which I was told they would be when I asked. very hard to use as steps as they stick under the cab like a rock slider should, but was hoping they would stick out enough to get a foot on. asked go rhino if my brackets were right as I thought they stuck under to far they said yes and I told them they should offer 2 different ones for people who would like to use as a step more than a slider. will be trying to modify brackets to make them more step friendly. other wise great looking bars. you do need help with install as extra hands are needed on plates that mount to bars. have pictures, but see nowhere to submit them.
