Some folks in the south are wondering why their diesels won't run this morning - well below freezing and the filter plug-point for summer grade #2 is 20 degrees. Have never had an issue with gelling/waxing fuel with the Winter Performance Formula over the past decade - even at -40 in Montana. My friend and neighbor has used this for years in his fleet of several diesel trucks and strongly recommended it to me three years ago for my used diesel motor home. This is definitely the best deisel additive I've used for sure. Put it in my boat with twin 660 hp cummins motors and went from 82 gallons per hr to 67 gal per hr at wide open throttle. Been using this and the summer blend version for 20 years. Works as it states and I haven't had any injector issues during this time period. I have been using Stanadyne Performance Diesel Fuel Additive for over 8 years. First truck was used for Hot-Shot delivery, averaged 150K miles per year. Second truck pulled a 18,000-pound trailer going on 50K miles. I have not had any issues with fuel pumps or injectors for over 250K miles. After calculating the fuel mileage driving 65 MPH. I get 1.2 miles more per gallon using Stanadyne than non-treated diesel. It pays for itself and then some. I would buy it by the 5-gallon bucket when driving the hot shot truck. Now I buy the case of 16oz bottles.

I’ve been using Stanadyne additive since I bought my first GM diesel pickup. I’ve been fortunate in that I’ve never had a fuel related issue. I just had my diesel fuel injectors cleaned and now running noticeably better and fuel mileage increased. My diesel mechanic recommended to use a bottle on Stanadyne diesel fuel injector cleaner every three months (and no substitutes). As far as I know all of the above is right. This the one recommended by the shop that rebuilt my injecter pump. The owner said he has run it in his car and truck for years and has never had a problem with his pumps.As far as I know all of the above is right. Have been using this for years. It works the best in my '03 VW diesel 1.9 TDI....I average 45 mpg in town and 55-60 on the highway....manual transmission....too bad VW no longer imports the TDI into the USA...Have been using this for years. After using this diesel additive for a while we have had ZERO problems with our 2008 Dodge Sprinter RV engine, power and emissions. Just had the CT emissions check, the allowable is 20 and the test results was 0.2. The increase in miles per gallon pays for the product. This is the correct product for Sprinter diesel engines.\nJust wish the bottles were clear as advertised. Sad the picture and write up is misleading.

Read good things about it. To be honest, it is so hard to say it works great or doesn't do anything because I don't have any empirical data to back up any claims. I do know my truck seems to start and run better and I do log mileage to see my fuel consumption and it seems to slightly improve the data when I use it. So, I give it 5 stars because it does no harm and better safe than sorry.
